This past weekend was a busy one for us. I was so excited for it to arrive on Friday and this morning I woke up wondering where it went. Yay for productivity!
Saturday morning I spent some time at the salon getting my done. I always feel so much happier with my hair after a hair cut. I don't know why I wait so long in between appointments. Oh wait, yes I do.
I'm lazy.
While I was out getting my hair done my Dad and Russ worked on getting my garage door back together. It was broken all last week so I had the joy of manually lifting and lowering my garage door. Although I have to admit, Russ is pretty awesome and he lifted it for me almost every morning :). They also worked on finishing up Russ' workbench. For Russ' birthday my Dad and Sister gave Russ a workbench. Well, not exactly. They gave him all the wood pieces that would make up the workbench. Since then, Russ & my Dad have been working on it together, building it along the way and it's just about done and looks awesome!
Saturday evening Russ & I were crazy party animals. Wait. No we weren't. We spent our Saturday evening running a few errands and grocery shopping. Although I must admit - it's quite glorious shopping on a Saturday night. No lines!
Sunday I took quite possibly the hardest workout class to date: Step class. The gym I go to offers Les Mills classes and lucky for me Sunday was the release of the newest step - and ohmygosh you guys...I almost died. So so so hard, but so so so good. My legs are definitely feeling it today.
After the gym and nice long walk outside we began tackling our spare room in the basement - it's been used a dumping ground for the last several months and Russ is determined to start turning it into something other than storage. It was a tad overwhelming, but we definitely made some progress!
Even Miley was exhausted by the end of the weekend!

That sounds like a good weekend :) We are having a long weekend over here - the government blessed us with a "Family Day"... we are off the movies shortly to finish the weekend off!!
I like that pic of you getting your hair done. I've NEVER had my hair professionally colored. I might have to change that!

I love getting things taken care of around the house on the weekend and I hope Miley helped with organizing the basement. :)
My husband has a workbench too and he is obsessed with it!
